Turning it off, and back on (this works quite often).
Booting into safe mode.
Resetting the PRAM and SMC.
Booting into recovery mode, or verbose mode. If either of these work, you have a different issue.
Running a hardware test, using Apple’s built-in tool, if you can see it.
