Danke, das ist mir schon klar, ich will es aber nicht so allumfassend. TextEdit hat durchaus auch seine Daseinsberechtigung
Auf dem aktuellen Mac OS habe ich diverse Dateien, die momentan noch mit TextWrangler v5.5.1 (TW) erstellt und dem Programm zugeordnet sind. Übertrage ich jene auf meinen 10.8.5 iMac, werden die da anstandslos mit TW v5.0.2 geöffnet. Steige ich nun auf BBEdit 11.6 (Mavericks+) um, funktioniert das auf dem alten Mac dann nicht mehr, d.h. dort wird dann der normale Standard TextEdit verwendet, statt dass die BBEdit .txt-Dateien dann als TW .txt-Dateien interpretiert werden.
So suche ich an sich nach einem Weg, in diese Text-Dateien die Information einzubetten "Öffne mich mit TW, wenn BBEdit nicht vorhanden ist!" ...
