Dann tippe ich ganz stark auf das Gehäuse, der Hersteller schweigt sich im Datenblatt aus, aber im Netz schneidet es nicht gut ab
Für ein Backup wäre vielleicht ohne hin ein zuverlässigeres Gehäuse angezeigt.

The following USB 3.0 external HDD enclosures will likely have similar problems, because they all have the JMicron, JMS539 chip:

As far as I know there are no devices listed in the official USB3 compatibility list having a JMS539 chip, since USB3 communication with this chip is unstable. For the ones with an ASM1051 chip hibernation is not supported.
