    "When you upgrade to macOS High Sierra, systems with all flash storage configurations are converted automatically. Systems with hard disk drives (HDD) and Fusion drives won't be converted to APFS. You can't opt-out of the transition to APFS."

    Es scheint also so, als ob man mit der High Sierra Release Version nicht (mehr) die Wahl hat. Befindet sich eine SSD im Mac, erfolgt demnach automatisch der Wechsel zu APFS - im Gegensatz zur Beta, wo man das Häkchen betr. APFS wegnehmen und auf HFS+ installieren kann.

    Zumindest funktioniert seit der aktuellen Developer Beta 7 (= Public Beta 6) auch auf interner Third-Party SSD die TRIM-Aktivierung (trimforce enable via Terminal) wieder.

      Kann mir ein/e Experte/-in einmal erklären, warum APFS nicht auf Rechnern mit einem Fusion-Drive installiert werden kann/darf?

        Offensichtlich macht aktuell das verbaute 3GB Fusion irgendwelche Probleme.

        Ich meine aber, dass ich bei der Installation der Beta auf AFPS konvertiert habe und alles läuft. Welche Fusion in meinem iMac steckt, kann ich erst heute abend sagen. Läuft jedenfalls seit der Einführung ohne Probleme.
